this project was created for Vasilis Lazarinis (IG: @v.lazarinhs), a bouzouki teacher and graduate in Special Harmony, who needed a poster to promote his private lessons on the trichordo bouzouki — in person and online.
the goal was a single, clean visual designed specifically for social media: simple and immediately readable, yet with enough character to stand out from the typical text-heavy lesson ads.
the creative direction draws from the heritage of the instrument itself. the trichordo bouzouki carries the history of rebetiko, so the design leans into a vintage, print-inspired aesthetic: aged paper texture, classic serif Greek typography reminiscent of old music-school posters, and a deep red that adds warmth without stealing attention.
the instrument, photographed in black and white and placed diagonally across the layout, acts both as image and as structure — dividing the poster into clear reading zones: the title on top, the curriculum on the left, the teacher's identity on the right.
a key challenge was distilling the content: the final hierarchy keeps only what matters — what is taught, who teaches it, and how to get in touch.
the result balances nostalgia with clarity — rooted in the tradition of the instrument, yet working as a modern, effective social media announcement.
